Karen L. Tucholski

Ms. Tucholski has been at North County Transit District since 2012 and has served in multiple leadership roles, including as Chief Administrative Officer, the Interim Chief Operations Officer of Rail and the Human Resources Manager.  In her current role she oversees several operational functions, including security services, the operations control center, learning and talent development, and human resources.  

Prior to joining the District, she held various positions in the human resources field within the non-profit and private sectors.  She was the Human Resources Director at the Cleveland Orchestra and also at the Nord Center, a behavioral health care provider.

Ms. Tucholski received her Juris Doctorate at Cleveland State University College of Law and her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Bates College.  She is a licensed attorney in the State of Ohio and holds a “Senior Professional in Human Resources” certificate.
